The Small Project can not run without volunteers and we desperately need people to help us run our sessions as we begin 2022. No prior knowledge is necessary - just a willingness to get stuck in.
Our sessions run on Thursday mornings during term time 9.30am - 12.00 noon,
Current Volunteer Roles available:
Session Support:
This role will involve sorting, making bundles, hosting, offering refreshments, and some face to face interaction with our service users. ​This takes place at our Thursday morning sessions.
Referral & Administration Support:
A flexible opportunity to support with some administration, helping manage referrals, update social media. Knowledge of Microsoft Office & good interpersonal skills essential.
Sorting Team: We have a sorting session, where we sort through donated clothes, currently every Thursday morning 10.00am - 12.00 noon.
Volunteer with us!
Volunteer Requirements: The sessional volunteers will be required to do some physical work, but we will work with individuals to accommodate any individual needs, and provide access to these opportunities. Our administration support requires IT and simple Office skills, and can be done remotely.

Corporate Volunteer Groups: We love to offer businesses the opportunity for a great day supporting our project, team building, and making a difference in our community. In order to facilitate this, please be aware we do require a financial donation toward the project, and to ensure appropriate staff time to coordinate and organise this.
